Are you a "DIY Diva"?

Being a DIY Diva will not only make you be a savvy and creative bride, but you are saving oodles of money by creating your own favors, decor, and even what is to be served at your wedding events.

Here are some amazing sources of inspiration to share to get your DIY projects going!

One amazing resource to turn to is the Wedding Paper Divas Blog!  Their DIY category, "DIY Divas", is chalk full of inspiring projects that you can do yourself!  Some projects covered are gift wrapping, making decorations, and creating centerpieces easily.

Beau-Coup Favors shares their DIY project ideas in their own blog and in their DIY gallery.  They show that purchasing a few key items, and adding your own homemade twists can produce the most unique favors for your guests.

For "setting the scene" inspirations, look to the Hostess with the Mostess! This website is full of amazing ideas, with brilliant table scapes, decor ideas, and fun party food/drink ideas!  There is a Bridal Shower section, displaying different ideas to creating a unique bridal shower.  Check out their DIY section to learn how to create the most unique touches to your event.  They provide great color themes as well.  There are also recipes to create delicious cocktails and yummy treats! Take a peak, get inspired, and create your party setting.

Print and create your own labels, customized stationary and decor with inspirations from Bird Party Crafts.  The ideas available are amazing! Check out their blog to see the latest posts and creations.  My fave ideas are the Glitter and Snow printables and decoration ideas, perfect for a NYE Engagement party, or other classy cocktail affairs.  The baby shower themes are pretty cute as well, but this is a bridal blog, so I will refrain from further gush!

The printables can be purchased through their Etsy site: http://www.etsy.com/shop/birdcraftsshop.

Many more ideas exist out there, and these are a few to get the DIY Diva within to do a little dance and create some one of a kind ideas for your wedding events!  More ideas to come as more are discovered!

Now aren't you a savvy DIY Diva!

Happy planning!
