Sweet inspirations for planning your holiday engagement party or rehearsal dinner. I personally like the home spun touch of the "chocolate crinkle" cookies, as shown below. As well the yarn spheres and candles brings an ethereal touch to the table scape.

Holiday Rehearsal Dinner Party Ideas
December 1st, 2010 by SilviaThe holiday season is officially upon us! Celebrate this time of year by hosting a holiday dinner party as your rehearsal or engagement dinner.
For the entrees, serve some warm soup in pretty bowls and accompany with some seafood linguine. Encourage your guests to make their own hot chocolate by setting up some candy canes, mini marshmallows, chocolate fudge, sprinkles, and any other goodies you can think of. You could also do the same with apple cider. Serve some peppermint bark and homemade cookies along with individual pie jars for dessert. Serve your goodies on pretty red trays garnished with a bunch of cinnamon sticks.

Decorate the place with pine branch garlands and wreaths. You could also make some DIY yarn spheres and mini owls to serve as place cards. Use plenty of candlelight to set the mood.

Set up single pine branches within your napkins and tie with a festive napkin ring. You could also use colorful ribbon to tie your favors and use mini sachet ornament as favors.

Finally, dress the part of the hostess by pairing a lovely side chignon with pretty red pumps and a festive dress tied with a ribbon. You could also adorn your outfit with a red scarf and faux fur stole.

May these examples inspire you in your upcoming holiday rehearsal dinner, or any holiday soiree. Your guests will love the sweet touches to the event.
