Wedding Inspiration: Rustic Vineyard Elegance

Vineyard Wedding Inspiration

Whenever I see weddings set in vineyards, my heart always swoons.  If I lived in a vineyard area of the country, I think I would've chosen such a location for my own wedding.  Here's my chance to share the wonderful elements that I would've loved to include, as a means to help inspire others looking for similar ideas.

Versatility of the Surroundings
Vineyard weddings are perfect for many DIY touches and rustic embellishments.  Being set in a vineyard, there also exists much nature in the vines, the grapes, likely laden with trees, hills might surround, glorious beauty indeed, and much to drive inspiration for incorporating into your wedding details!

Reception & Decor
I love the image of the barn, it sets the tone for the ideal vineyard reception.  Setting it up offers loads of opportunity to seek out elegant rustic wooden tables and chairs.  Finding hanging wrought iron chandeliers, twinkling lights, and candles to create a warm glowing ambiance, so inviting and dreamy.

Favors
When it comes to favors, bottles of the vineyard's wine or olive oil makes an obvious choice.  Personalized wine labels are a great way to share your monogram and include the name of the vineyard-great keep sakes for your guests, and for yourselves to keep as a reminder of your vineyard wedding.  Finding a large magnum bottle for your guests to sign as your guest book alternative is a fun idea as well!

Escort Cards & Table Numbers
The image of the escort card wall is adorable!  I love the use of wine bottles, flowers, succulents and moss amongst the cards for guests to seek their spots.  The wine cork place card holders are so adorable as well! Equally having wine bottles as table numbers, adds to the charm of the vineyard wedding.

Sweet & Savory
The image of the cake shows simplicity is key, yet elegant.  I love the use of grapes drooping off the tiers.  Rustic breads, artisan cheeses, assorted nuts, and dried fruit can be offered to your guests as appetizers.

My favorite image here is the vineyard rows lit with twinkling lights.  It is so charming, looks like a lot of work, but it is a great inspiration for what you can do with the surroundings of the vineyard.

Whatever inspires you for your wedding, enjoy the endless inspirations out there!

  3. Did you create that board??? The cake in it is exquisite! There's definitely a romance surrounding vineyard/Northern California weddings. Even if you're not a big wine fan, there's still something so fabulous about wine country.
