Very excited to present my first Real Wedding segment today! Well, I'm excited for many reasons actually.
The bride happens to be a close friend of mine, from our good old days at college. As is the photographer, Amy Ellis. I first met Amy when she and Dana were roommates, and I have followed her artistic talents since. I was thrilled to hear she'd be the photographer at Dana's wedding, which made for a mini-reunion of sorts, which tends to happen at weddings anyway.
Recently I reached out to Amy to inquire about her being up for the opportunity to submit some of her wedding photography to me, and she agreed with much excitement!
For me, it is an honor to have the first real wedding I post about be of a friend's wedding, beautifully photographed by a friend. How things come full circle in life. I never knew, whilst being a guest at this wedding, I'd become a wedding blogger, and then be able to share Amy's passion for photography and her talents!
I present to you Amy Ellis Photography:
Dana and Andy are such a sweet couple! They are fun, free spirited and are so playful with one another, which can be seen here.
I have to mention my love of Dana's dress. It was so stunning in person, and it fit her so beautifully. I love the layers of lace and fabric, it had a vintage vibe, with a bit of modern edge. Andy's choice of suit was perfect for their summer wedding, and to match his bride's attire.
Thanks to the couple for sharing their wedding photos with me, and much gratitude to Amy for sharing your work!
