I met Kate, the lovely bride, when studying abroad in Strasbourg, France, nearly 10 years ago, and since that unforgettable year, we have remained in touch.
Many years later I returned to France, and made a weekend journey to Birmingham, U.K., to visit with the friends I had made from the days in "Strazzers", as we call it now. I met up with Kate at that time, and had the chance to meet Mike, it was great to put the name to the face, and see them in love and smitten with each other.
A few years ago I was so excited to learn of their engagement, and knew their wedding would be gorgeous with a unique vibe! I also knew that Kate would make such a stunning bride, with her dazzling eyes and contagious smile.
Kate and Mike chose to marry in Birmingham, U.K., and picked a unique venue called The Old Library at the Custard Factory in Digbeth. The photography was done by Stuart James Photography, and what beautiful imagery he produced.
My heartfelt thanks to Kate & Mike for sharing with me their wedding photos.
I love the second image, with Kate's back to the photographer, so we can have a glimpse of her dress and the flowing lace-gorgeous!
I also love the choice for the venue, and the choice for having the wedding so close to Christmas-the use of lit Christmas trees and candles throughout the venue is adorable and charming.
Smooches and many thanks to the Mr. and the Mrs!
