{Real Wedding} Nicole + Ben, New Jersey

A gorgeous wedding filled with DIY details & vintage touches.

I was thrilled to find another Two Bright Lights submission today, more so when I viewed the gorgeous photography of Casey Fatchett Photography. The lighting and captured images are really stunning.

A few words from the photographer:

"Sometimes you find a couple who really puts A LOT of thought into the details of their wedding. Nikki and Ben were certainly one of those couples. From the hand-stamped escort cards and "signing tree" to choosing vintage items to go along with each centerpiece - a typewriter, a telephone, a fire extinguisher, old movie prints, and more. I felt really awful when there was a torrential downpour the day of the wedding. We kept saying, "Oh, it's going to let up soon!" but it only got worse. They went with it! We were supposed to take portraits outside a 'castle' in New Jersey but because of the rain we switched to a local art gallery whose owner was a friend of the bride's mother - everything worked out fine. And the dance-off during the reception was truly something to behold."

Get ready to feast your eyes upon a unique wedding, centered around a very happy couple, full of smiles and much adoration.  Without further ado, I present to you Casey Fatchett Photography.

I absolutely love the usage of vintage items for the centerpieces, they bring such a fun and unique vibe to the tables and decor of the space.

The thumbprint tree as a guest book alternative is one of my favorite trends at weddings, the one seen here is adorable!  As well the silhouette escort cards are really charming and whimsical.

The bride and groom exude so much happiness, it's lovely to see so many smiles.  I do love all the dancing images, looks like one great party!

Congrats to the happy couple, and many thanks to Casey Fatchett Photography for sharing your photography with me!

  2. When they originally told me they were going to have some vintage items on the tables, I thought "Okay, they will get a bunch of the same thing or maybe two different things and alternate them..." I was pretty amazed myself.
