{Styled Shoot} Playing with Colors

I love it when people play with color! Brilliantly chosen color palettes make such a splash to any event, especially when it involves bold colors paired in unique ways.

Today we are sharing with you a styled shoot that was submitted via Two Bright Lights by Maui Creative Design and Photography, their 2nd appearance on our blog!  This styled shoot not only has a unique color palette, it also has unique vintage touches and attention to details.

I am so loving the palette of yellow, aqua and red hues together!  It is a unique combo of colors, and it works so well.  Little touches like the bride's birdcage veil with golden yellow brooch and the groom's aqua tie bring in the pops of color in a unique and subtle way.

The color palette is beautifully displayed in the bouquet, as well as the table setting and invitation suite.  Keeping the base of the table setting to be in a natural hue, allows the colors to stand alone on their own, and play well together.  For example, the use of colored glassware, as seen in the table setting design, enables the splash of color to be present without being overbearing to the rest of the setting.

Did you notice the little bridal gown cookie is decorated to reflect the bride's gown?  That is an attention to detail that I love as well, down to the golden beading on the dress.

Many thanks to Maui Creative Design and Photography for submitting to us your work and creativity!
