Today we have a beautiful wedding to share with you, full of delightful touches the bride did herself. The venue (a private residence) seen here doesn't look like it belongs to the South Eastern region of the United States, yet more in the English countryside-it's nearly Downton Abbey-esque!
We are happy to feature Diana Deaver Weddings as the photographer of this gorgeous wedding. Diana has shared a little note to go along with this couple's beautiful nuptials.Courtney and Steven got married in the back yard of their home in an intimate and charming setting with close friends and family. She spent the previous months personally landscaping her yard to accommodate the wedding. I believe she chose that location because it was her home. and therefore more meaningful. She made arrangements with the nighbours to accomodate some of the parking.
Courtney's wedding had a very rustic, french feel. She had large wooden tables with burlap table runners. The lighting was soft and very romantic- maily candles and light strings. Some of her special details: While she was lamdscaping the garden she found four windows buried under the grass and bushes. She cleaned them up and used them to have their guests write messages during the wedding and later hung them in her house. Their bridal couple pictures were done on the gorgeous properties of two of their neighbors (Courtney wrote them letters ahead of time and asked permission to take photos in their yards). She hand made the cupcake stand herself and also hand wrote the place settings tags.
I present to you this beautiful wedding at the bride's home, featuring Diana Deaver Weddings!
What a beautiful wedding! I can totally understand why the couple held the wedding at their home, it is perfect for such an occasion. I truly love all of the details seen throughout, including my favorite-burlap table runners! The cupcakes are really sweet as well, with the little "I do" flags. I also love the floral centerpieces in the greenish hued vases.
Have you or would you hold your wedding at your home or a private residence of a relative or friend? If the opportunity existed I might have considered it myself. A lot of work goes into it I'm sure, but sometimes family and friends can help out a great deal.
Many thanks to Diana Deaver Weddings for submitting such a beautiful wedding for us to share!
