{Real Couples} Angie & Ryan's Michigan Engagement Shoot

We have another beachy engagement shoot to share with you this week!  I am loving these beach filled shoots lately, and with pups to boot!  Keep em' coming folks!   I love it when people include their beloved pets, for they are family too, and add so much charm to the shoot.

Today's adorable engagement shoot was submitted to Two Bright Lights by Patrick Hadley Photography.  Trisha, the eye behind the lens, shared this little note about Angie and Ryan with us:

Angie and Ryan are high school sweethearts. While both live in Midland Michigan, Ryan's family is from up north, the Manistee area, so Ryan and Angie wanted to do their engagment session up there.

They brought along their dog Cleo, who they wanted to include because she has cancer and they are not sure how much longer they will be able to enjoy her. :(

The first part of the shoot took part at Portage Point Inn, a beach hotel that Ryan used to work at. The second part of the shoot took place at Douglas Valley Vineyard where they did a wine tasting. We went to a third location, downtown Manistee. They are getting married in October.

So let's get on with the shoot, shall we?  It's really cute, and has a bit of a patriotic flare just in time for Independence Week!

Such a darling little shoot.  Angie and Ryan including their precious pup Cleo in their engagement shoot, for not only the reason it's their fur baby, but because they don't know how much time she has left, really tugs at the heartstrings.

I like it that the shoot took place in a few different spots, giving a little variety to view upon.  The whole shoot is cute, but I do like the shots on the dock, especially this last image.

Congrats to Angie & Ryan on their upcoming wedding this fall!

Many thanks to Patrick Hadley Photography for submitting to us this sweet engagement shoot!
