{Real Weddings} A Cozy Garden Wedding

Ahh, I opened my inbox over the weekend, and this gem of a wedding was waiting for me to view its cozy charm.  Today's featured wedding isn't about the couple themselves, as is usally the case, but it's about all the details that went into their magical day.

This shoot was submitted via Two Bright Lights by Orange Blossom Photography, and we are so excited to welcome them to the blog for the first time.  Karey, the mastermind behind the lens, shared a little note about this wedding:
I was hired by the caterer to capture the details of this backyard garden wedding. The caterer (absolute celebrations) handled the catering, serving, bar, presentation and staging of this wedding. This DIY wedding was whimsical and had vintage rentals from a local store. The wine that was served was also from a local winery (Wente Vineyards). Special touches included: A made-to-order smore's bar, signature drink (Acai Kiss), and candle mason jars hanging from the trees.

Behold this charming garden wedding beautifully captured by Orange Blossom Photography!

How I do love so many of the details seen throughout this wedding, I don't even know where to begin! The first image of the tables set up under the lights sets the tone off right for this cozy affair.  Did you notice the "directional sign" for guests to read where to dine, and where to dance?  Love this! Having the white themed chairs and linens kept simple enables the tabletop touches to stand out, like the mason jars with pink striped straws.

The vintage key escort cards and table numbers are completely swoon worthy (and pin worthy)! I am loving the couple's monogram design, it's just beautiful.  Having the hutch as apart of the decor, with the framed images of the couple gives it that personal touch, as if in someone's living room.

The food offerings look amazing, as well!  The "torched-to-order s'mores" station is a unique and fun touch for sure-especially with the clothes pins as tongs to serve!  I've no doubt the guests that attended this beautiful affair will be talking about all the details for years to come, including the s'mores bar!

Many thanks to Orange Blossom Photography for submitting to us your beautiful work!   We hope to have you back!

  1. I really love how this wedding was planned by the organizer. Becoming a wedding planner is not an easy thing. You also have to load yourself with enough knowledge and skills in order to make your client satisfied and happy on their special day.

  2. I love weddings and the happiness all around. I usually photograph the event and later indulge in the fine cuisine from the hired catering company from the couple.
