Oh how I do love it when couples incorporate a bit of a vintage vibe into their engagement shoots. We've shared one such shoot in the past with a couple that dressed the part of Noah & Ali from the movie The Notebook, from the 1940's, and another with a couple dressing and playing the part of The Damsel and The Villain, from the 1910's. Today's engagement shoot, submitted via Two Bright Lights by Caitlinn Mahar-Daniels Photography, features such an example of that vintage vibe with Kari & Kyle, the smitten couple, looking like a pair of "old souls" from the 1920's.
Please enjoy Kari & Kyle's vintage engagement shoot, captured by Caitlinn Mahar-Daniels Photography:
Kari & Kyle have that old soul quality about them, which is probably what drew them to one another. I love Kari's pretty coif and wardrobe styling. Kyle's dapper hat and suspenders is a fitting touch to the vibe. The location of the shoot, Madam Brett Park, enables the images to reflect the desired era this couple wanted to embrace, rather than a modern setting.
Many thanks to Caitlinn Mahar-Daniels Photography for the submission!
