{Real Weddings} Tamara & Steve's Hidden Meadows Wedding

Whenever I hear the name of wedding venues, I usually get the picture in my head of what type of wedding would be held there, even before I set my eyes on the venue itself, or images of the establishment.  For example, if there is a venue named "Provencal Gardens", which was my wedding venue, you can guarantee the venue would boast French charm reminiscent of the Provence region of France.  If there is a venue called "The Brick Yard", one might anticipate the wedding decor to be a little urban chic, in an old historic building, with funky artwork hung on exposed brick walls.  Well, today's featured wedding is held at a venue named "Hidden Meadows", and I jut knew prior to reviewing the submission I would love the images of such an establishment.  I imagined a cozy venue, with rustic touches, and that is indeed the type of venue it is!  Wait till you see the details awaiting below.

We are happy to welcome back to the blog Heather Lynn Photographie, whom submitted this gorgeous couple's Snohomish, Washington wedding held at The Hidden Meadows.  Heather shares with us a bit about Tamara & Steve's big day:
Burlap and Lace themed vintage DIY wedding! The MOB actually fell and broke her hip the day before the wedding and was released from the hospital the day of the wedding just in time to watch her daughter get married! She was escorted in by ambulance and medics! But everyone was so glad she could make it, as it looked like she might have to miss her only daughter's wedding day!!

Oh, you know our ears and eyes perked up at the mention of burlap and lace!  Behold Tamara & Steve's wedding, captured by Heather Lynn Photographie:

There is so much deliciousness to behold in this wedding, I don't know really where to start.  I do love Tamara's dress, it is sensational!  And again we have another groom whom has gone with the light hued suit!  Seems to be a trend, and I'm loving this trend.

Everything about the decor is right up our DIY loving alley.  The paper poms hanging from the ceiling, above the dessert buffet, are so inspiring, and beg to be replicated! The hues of brown, sand and taupe work with the burlap and lace accents throughout the rustic venue.

Can we talk about the mason jar candles wrapped in lace?  Love this idea.  The jars look to be filled with epsom salt and a tea light, which creates a soft glow through the lace, making it look like frosted glass lanterns.  And, let's not leave out the cute jars of freezer jam for the guests to take home! Too cute, and very fitting with all the other DIY details.

As much as it is heartbreaking to hear of Tamara's mom getting hurt just before the wedding, to see her present at her daughter's wedding, if even on a stretcher with a big smile on her face, is just heartwarming to see!  I believe any mother would do the same if she could given those circumstances.

Many thanks to Heather Lynn Photographie for sharing with us again your beautiful work!
