{Real Weddings} Katie & Gregg's Dana Point Wedding

We have a beautiful ocean view wedding to share with you today, submitted by Jacquelyn Rachel Photography!  I'm loving all the seashell embellishments in the decor, and I cannot stop staring at Katie's fantastic gown, it's to die for!

Jackie, the photog, shared this little note with us about Katie & Gregg's wedding:
Katie and Gregg met in college and dated for five years before getting married overlooking the Pacific Ocean at Heritage Hill in Dana Point. Avid lovers of the ocean and everything that goes with it, many of their formal photos took place on the family boat, and their reception was beach themed, with shells and sand backlit by romantic teals and candles.

Behold Katie & Gregg's Dana Point Wedding, beautifully photographed by Jacquelyn Rachel Photography:

I love the color palette of teal and white for this gorgeous wedding.  It's so simple and elegant.  The use of seashells and twine to embellish the decor pieces is executed very well.  The mason jars filled with a bit of sand, some shells, a few twigs, that textured teal candle, adorned with twine at the mouth of the jar is a definite take away for brides to recreate for their own beach themed wedding.  Likewise, topping the cake with a simple starfish, rather than a typical cake topper is understated and so classy!  Definitely less is more for this wedding, which is a plus in our books.

My fave image has to be the entire bridal party on the boat! Everyone fits so perfectly, and it's really a beautiful shot.

Many thanks to Jacquelyn Rachel Photography for this beautiful submission.
