{Real Weddings} Libby & Ivy's Spring Hill Manor Wedding

Happy Monday!  It's the first Monday of December, the last month of 2012! Just think, only 4 more Mondays left this year! We have to stay positive on days that follow beautiful weekends, when it is back to the grind, right?  At least this month is full of celebrations and wrapping up a wonderful year.

To help soften the blow of this Monday morning, we have a darling wedding to share with you today, full of rustic charm and cozy DIY touches, submitted by Kat Forder Photography and Productions.

The setting of this wedding looks like it is set in the U.K., not in the states.  It is interesting, however, that the bride does hail from England, so it does make sense their venue would reflect her home.

Kat, the photographer, shared this little tid bit about this lovely couple's wedding:
Elizabeth (Libby) is a sweet bride from the UK. She met her American guy Ivy while they were both studying in Canada. They were married in a lovely rustic barn wedding with loads of DIY touches, including their paper flower bouquets!

Such a lovely couple! Libby & Ivy are so smitten with one another, and have a timeless vibe.  I adore everything about their wedding.  Most unique are the stained glass windows hanging in the reception.  It makes a stunning backdrop to the celebrations.

Libby's attire, and that of her bridesmaids is so sweet! I love how everyone is wearing their own style, and all are in boots, except for Libby, who is wearing white converse.  Libby's headpiece is so cute as well.  I have to wonder if she designed it or if it was made for her.

I am loving the use of mason jars, burlap & doilies! Those three items combined are always an A+ in our books, they truly send the right message, especially for a DIY wedding.

My many thanks to Kat Forder Photography and Productions for submitting this charming wedding, it's made our Monday oh so sweet!
