{Real Couples} Darla & Mitch's Vintage Movie Theatre Engagement Shoot

Do you have a vintage movie theater in your town?  Do you have access to a vintage car? Do you have a 50's inspired outfit or costume to piece together?  If you have all of the above, and you're looking for engagement shoot ideas, we have just the inspiration for such a shoot, submitted to us by Studio Eleven Photography!  "It's the bees knees"!

Robin from Studio Eleven Photography shared a little note with us about Darla & Mitch's shoot:
For this amazing engagement shoot the bride wanted to have the Save The Date announcement on a movie marquee. Luckily, this small Texas town still has a working vintage movie theatre. The bride was able to find a pristine classic hot rod and we decided to take the photo shoot in a vintage 50s direction. We shot at night on a very busy street so it was a challenge but, the clothing, hot rod and movie theatre all came together to produce an incredible stylized engagement shoot for this couple.

We love the Save The Date message on the marquee! Please enjoy the work of Studio Eleven Photography:

Love the shoot! I love, love, love Darla's outfit! It is so cute! Mitch matches her to a T as well.  And what of that car?! I'd love to have to go on dates with my hubby!

Thanks to Studio Eleven Photography for this fun submission!

  1. Such a great shoot concept...love her outfit! And the marquee is a great way to 'sneak in' the wedding details. :-)
