{Styled Shoot} La Renaissance Inspiration

I'm not sure what happens across the country this time of year, but every February the Renaissance Festival consumes Phoenix, Arizona, and it is quite the popular attraction.  People come from all over the state to get into the Medieval spirit of things. The event takes place at this desert lot, that is all dirt, and it just is quite messy to go to.  I personally am not won over by this annual event and am not clamoring to devour a large turkey leg and watch a jousting tournament, but if a group of people want to go, I might go along.  It is funny to me to see people who get into renaissance period character, and are not even the actors! I was once somehow involved in a group of women that "the king" selected to have walk with him to the jousting arena, like the fair maidens of the court in The Tudors.  I was apart of this ridiculous parade to get to the arena, where people actually stopped to watch with excitement and screamed "all hail the king"...so bizarre to me! Oh, and not to leave out the constant shouts of "huzzah" all over the place...I just don't get it.

Putting my personal Renaissance Festival experiences aside, if you invited me to a more elegant affair, like the one in this gorgeous styled shoot, submitted by Misty Miotto Photography, you would definitely find me in attendance, and maybe even dressed the part! The collaborative team, comprised of Misty Miotto PhotographyWeddings By Carly Ane's, Melody Matheny Designs, and Atmospheres Floral did a stunning job bringing the medieval period to life in this shoot! It is imaginative, and full of rich, stunning imagery.  In fact it is a little more like Marie Antoinette would be in attendance, but definitely has more of the historical English touch to it.  Part of the shoot does remind me of the series The Tudors, you'll have to find out what I mean.  Be sure to check out the beautiful video from Imprint Cinema!

Please enjoy this beautiful Renaissance inspired shoot, gorgeously captured by Misty Miotto Photography:

This makes me want to put on my own Renaissance themed party! Such a bold and elegant shoot. See what I mean about The Tudors? This lucky guy is surrounded by three gorgeous ladies! I love each of the bride's own style, with their different updo's and bridal gowns.  I think I favor the long braided bride, but all are gorgeous in their own way.

I love all the table decor pieces, like the goblets with the intricate designs, the scroll invitation, and that cake! Wow! Using purple as the main theme helps make the royal inspiration stand out.

Many thanks to Misty Miotto Photography and team for submitting such a lovely and imaginative styled shoot!
