{Real Weddings} Ashley & Michael's Warmhearted Outdoor Wedding

Michelle Brooks Photography submitted to us an adorable wedding that is simply charming, aesthetically and emotionally.  The color palette is a bright & cheery palette of orange, fuchsia and white.  The flowers are gerbera daisies, which always bring a smile to my face.  The charming emotional factor lies in the eyes of these two smitten love birds.  They have a first glance session that is so sweet, where Michael, the groom, walks up to his bride, rather than the bride sneaks up on the groom.  Love fun twists like this!

The story of how Ashley & Michael met is a sweet one, and we have it here, in the groom's words:
The story goes something like this...
Michael saw Ashley as she sang and danced during one of the Erskine Choraleers' spring concerts and thought that she was the most gorgeous thing he had ever laid eyes on.
Ashley thought Michael was "cute", in a Winnie-the-Pooh sort of way. Yay.
Neither speaks to the other. Michael thinks she's out of his league. Several months pass.
The Halloween Concert rolls around, and the house is packed. Michael is sitting next to two of the only empty seats. Ashley's best friend drags her down to sit there.
Michael thanks God in as many ways as he knows how.
They all begin talking - Michael cleverly manipulates the situation and convinces Ashley and her friend to watch a movie with him that night. A scary movie (EDIT: Ashley strongly disagrees, claiming she cleverly manipulated the situation).
The movie is horrible. Ashley tells Michael that his taste in movies is truly terrible. Michael counters with the fact that she has no taste.
Love blooms.

I love the groom's cantor, and the fact it is in his words how he tells their tale.  Stories like this seem to be rare these days, and it is heartwarming to hear that two people can still meet in a crowded place.  How Michael happened to sit next to the only 2 empty chairs in the room, and then in walks his future bride to sit in one of those two seats...I just got goosebumps!

Such a cute couple with such a fun spirit about them! I love the groomsmen attire of suspenders & fuchsia bow ties-it's a sharp and clever look, that allows for a bit of the groom's humor to shine through.  The flower girl & ring bearer are ADORABLE by the way!

Many thanks to Michelle Brooks Photography for this sweet submission!
