I am so excited to be able to introduce to the blog Valerie at Blue Hills Photo! Valerie isn't just a local photographer, she is actually a friend of mine! I've known Valerie for a few years now, and am so excited she has turned her love for photography into her career!
This is the first time Blue Hills Photo has been published, and what a wedding Valerie picked to share! Kelly & Justin's wedding is set at the Windmill Winery in Florence, AZ. I love the rustic elegance the venue offers, and the vintage touches the couple added to make it their own unique style. Here's a bit about the beautiful couple:Kelly and Justin are a couple of "Young" loves that play, laugh and then joined their lives together on January 25, 2013. Their energy together is graceful and easygoing. Kelly and Justin are a modern couple with country roots. They picked The Windmill Winery for its beauty, big barn, wild turkeys and classic car. All the details down to the classy blue shoes Kelly wore then kicked up her boots for the reception. The first look pictures were romantic by nature but Cinderella type drama made possible with Kelly's sweetheart white Allure dress. Kelly's mother Sue walked her down the aisle to her dapper looking husband Justin in a solid gray suit. They finished off the ceremony with a kiss and many more with a windmill backdrop. Tractors and a beer burro were just a few other key decor items specific to The Windmill Winery. Rocking music by the DJ made for a nonstop party that everyone was clearly enjoying. The guests enjoyed twinkle lights in the barn and a warm campfire outside. Justin whisked his bride Kelly away in their chariot classic car to live happily ever after.
Without further ado, I now present to you Kelly & Justin's Windmill Winery Wedding, beautifully captured by Blue Hills Photo:
So gorgeous and nostalgic! Valerie described Kelly & Justin perfectly-a modern couple with country roots! Val captured their spirit so well. I love the dazzling blue, gray and white color palette and the splash the floral arrangements bring to the seen. Kelly's bouquet of proteas and succulents, mixed with lavender, greenery and other flowers is amazing!
Kelly's dress from Lillian Lottie is to.die.for! She wears it beautifully, and paired the perfect jewelry accessories complete the look.
As you can clearly see, Windmill Winery is a great venue, offering a fun environment, yet maintains a level of class and sophistication. Did you notice one of my fave decor pieces? An outdoor chandelier! It's the simple things that get me...
Many thanks to Valerie at Blue Hills Photo for coming here first to have your work published! You are always welcome here, friend!
