{Styled Shoot} Wedding Inspiration from Oz

Happy Friday to one and all! What are your plans for the weekend?  Do they involve catching a film?Maybe the premiere of "Oz the Great and Powerful?, perhaps?  Well, if so, we have just the treat for you, and all, to behold! This beautiful styled shoot was submitted to us by Nashville Photography Group, and it hits every note "over the rainbow"!

Here's a little note about the shoot, and how it all came together:
Zoe dreamed of being Dorothy since she was a little girl. Her fantasy of living it up over the rainbow in sparkle red shoes, surrounded by glitter finally came to life on her wedding day. Of course, now that she's all grown up, her dream has a little more class and swank involved. She asked for elements of the Wizard of OZ to create her day: a red poppy wall, emerald green pops, gold accents, her very own yellow brick road of flowers cascading over the head table and, of course, two golden balloons for her hubby and her to “ride away” in. Her designer, Events by Catherine, hit every mark and took it a giant step further by incorporating a Toto, their Great Dane. The day certainly will be one that will leave their guests wondering, “Was it real or just all a dream?”

Without further ado, I present to you this gorgeous Wedding Inspiration from Oz, captured by Nashville Photography Group:

We are definitely not in Kansas anymore, are we?  If Toto was this great dane, instead of in the original Wizard of Oz, I think there would have been some changes to the scene & script!

I love all the attention to detail, including the focus on the red poppies.  The fact that the yellow hanging tulips represents the yellow brick road, is genius! The cake ties all the elements together so beautifully, with the dash of red poppies, the yellow brick road design, and the emerald jewels.

I so love the bride's dress-I've not seen a white dress with green accents like that before!  And of course, it would not be an Oz inspired wedding, without those fabulous sparkly red ruby heels!
