{Advice} Smile Down the Aisle

How many times do you think you will smile on your wedding day? You will likely have a grin on your face all day long! From the moment you wake up and say "it's my wedding day", then seeing your loved ones and friends trickle in as your hair and makeup get done, posing pretty with your bridesmaids, and then you'll really smile when you see your husband at the end of the aisle. The smiling only gets better from that moment on, through the rest of the night.  Making sure your teeth look just as great as any other part of you for your wedding day is a big deal, and it shouldn't be neglected in your bridal beauty routine, which often begins at least 6 months prior to the wedding.

Hydration, hydration, hydration

One tip for your wedding day is to have a bottle of water with you as much as possible to help keep you, and your mouth hydrated.  Smiling so much can dry the mouth out easily, it's a long day anyway, so take a few sips here and there.  I believe many can chime in and agree that we know what it feels like to smile when our mouth is dry...it's not the best feeling.  Plus, staying hydrated will keep you from fainting, which you don't want.

Pearly Wedding Whites

When it comes to making sure your teeth look beaming white, that process should begin a few months ahead of your wedding.  Whether you do the teeth whitening at home, or seek out a professional, that's up to you. I'd rather the later, so I can get it done in a day versus waiting for my teeth to get whiter over the course of a few weeks or months.  Keep your eyes out for teeth whitening specials in your area, they exist more than you think!

Straight to the heart

If you're concerned with making sure your pearly whites are straight, you're covered there as well, and we don't mean braces. Consider going the Invisalign route to help gently straighten your teeth. Invisalign creates custom made aligners that are specifically made for just you and nobody else. These aligners are clear, are to be worn day and night, and nobody would even know that while they are talking to you about your upcoming wedding, you are straightening your teeth to wedding day perfection!
