This wedding we are sharing with you all today, from Life's Highlights, is full of traditions, beauty and creativity. Having had a Catholic wedding ceremony myself, I can relate to the gorgeous bride and how she and her groom prepared for their beautiful wedding.
Photographer April shared some of the details with us, which are totally Pin-worthy, by the way:Classic details and soft spring colors were key elements in this traditional wedding. The bride and groom exchanged traditional vows during a Catholic mass, where guests received tissues for their "tears of joy". The bride wore a lace fit-and-flare gown, while bridesmaids wore tiffany blue floor length chiffon dresses. Bouquets featured hydrangea, roses, and cymbidium orchids with loops of ribbon grass.
The garden reception was set under a canopy of lights overlooking the water. Tables were set with soft blue linens, with centerpieces of white ceramic pitchers filled with snowball hydrangea, white calla lilies, and white tulips, and chalkboard table numbers. The groom's sister hand-painted wooden signs directing guests to the festivities, as well as guest table assignments on window pane displays.
Instead of a traditional guestbook, guests signed a tin of champagne. The gazebo made for a perfect focal point for the sweetheart table. Guests enjoyed local Cuban food, a decadent Pasta station (as a nod to the bride's Italian family), as well as a cupcake bar instead of a traditional wedding cake! The cupcakes were displayed on ribbon-accented cake stands, with chalkboard flavor labels. As night fell, the grounds were lit with swirls of mason jars with floating candles strewn through the grass. Before departing on the water taxi back to the hotel, guests enjoyed a late night snack of salty pretzels.

Such a stunning wedding for these two gorgeous lovebirds. Everything about their wedding is so elegant and classy. Lissette's dress is fabulous, as are the floor length bridesmaid gowns. I love that hue of blue.
I cannot get over these mason jar luminaries-that is perfect for a garden reception! I've not seen this, usually they are featured hanging from tree branches, or even in a chandelier, but on the ground brings so much warmth to the ambiance. Well done to the creator of this creative detail!
Our thanks to Life's Highlights for this beautiful couple's wedding submission!
