{Styled Shoot} Rustic Southwest Winter Inspiration

Winter festivities might not be around the corner just yet, but in terms of wedding event planning, those dates are actually really close!  Eek, are you ready?! Planning should start now, my friends, for the time will soon be upon us once again.

To help get us in the mood for some wintertime tablescape ideas, we have this lovely southwestern desert styled shoot that was sent over by Faithfully Focused Photography and Gia Zopatti. We are loving all
the natural and rustic elements mixed with dark jeweled tones typically found around the holidays.  It's simply styled, and beautifully executed as you soon shall see.

Please enjoy the rustic southwest winter styled setting, captured by Faithfully Focused Photography:

Here's what I love about this shoot: the use of the large worn wooden lantern as a vessel to contain the succulents.  It really is inspiring to see that bit of creativity.  I also love seeing the burlap table runner, it helps enhance the rustic vibe.  The potted succulents, the lumber cuts and the candles bring in the charm and warmth to the setting.  The color scheme of muted jewel tones brings the element of winter.  Changing the color palette, such as bold and bright colors, would take this from a winter scene to a summer one.

We hope this styled shoot has brought inspiration your way! What will you be taking away? Thanks to Faithfully Focused Photography and Gia Zopatti for sending this our way!
