{Real Weddings} Lindsey & Jeffrey's Tocca Falls Wedding

We have a lovely wedding at Tocca Falls to share with you today, from JLC Photos.  We've seen a few weddings at this locale, and it is easy to see why couples choose to wed here with the stunning falls in the background.

The beautiful bride Lindsey has shared with us a bit a bout herself and her husband, and all that went into the planning of their beautiful wedding.

Please enjoy Lindsey & Jeffrey's Tocca Falls Wedding, captured beautifully by JLC Photos:

Jeffery and I met at church. He had been attending the same church for months but had never met each other. In December 2010, we were introduced by my brother.

Jeffery proposed to me on Christmas Eve of last year. He had just joined the army and was allowed two weeks home from basic training. After spending Christmas Eve with his family, he took me outside to exchange gifts. He gave me a small bag and I was completely surprised when I pulled out a scarf. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting! Then he started telling me how much he loved me and before I knew it, he was down on one knee with tears in his eyes asking me to marry him. He proposed standing in the same spot where we shared our first kiss.

I found my gown at "The Castle" in Anderson, SC. I was actually extremely sick on the day I went dress shopping, but due to time constraints, it had to be done that day! I tried on at least 20 gowns before deciding that the lace Allure gown was going to be the one. Enduring the sickness was definitely worth it to find that dress.

Jeffery and I visited Toccoa Falls a few days after he proposed. Toccoa Falls and The Gate Cottage completely captured how I wanted my wedding to look and feel. I couldn't have picked a better location.

We are both simple people and we love being outside. I wanted our wedding to reflect that. Our venue was perfect for what I had in mind. I chose light greens and ivory to enhance the natural beauty of our surroundings.

I chose to have my brother standing beside me on my wedding day, and Jeffery had his brother by his side as well. All of the men wore tuxedos by Allure.

Lindsey also shared with us some advice: "Have enough time to look for gowns on several days in case you get sick!"

Such a beautiful wedding for a charming couple.  The choice of venue was indeed perfect! Our thanks to Lindsey for sharing with us a bit about your day! And a big thank you to JLC Photos for sending over your work!
