Moss covered chandeliers, gorgeous summer flowers, and weeping willows make the perfect recipe for a lovely plantation wedding in Charleston, South Carolina. We are pleased to feature such a wedding submitted to us from Charleston Wedding Photographer Richard Bell. Tori & Ryan's wedding was held at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. We just love the beauty captured here, it is truly a southern dream wedding.
The bride has shared some details that went into planning their wedding:Our first vision for the wedding was the venue, we knew we wanted to get married outdoors on one of the beautiful plantations in Charleston. We wanted to keep things fairly simple as to not distract from the natural setting of the plantation. We chose to have the bridesmaids wear navy and the groomsmen in grey, with an assortment of blush/neutral colored bouquets, made by one of my bridesmaids. We also had Spanish Moss hung from the chandeliers in the Carriage House. I love the idea of incorporating some of the outdoors into the reception area. Since we got married in July we had large umbrellas set up for the ceremony so our guests could have some shade to sit under.
We certainly love this outdoor plantation wedding, and we hope you enjoy the gorgeous imagery captured by Richard Bell Photography:Photographer: Richard Bell Photography//Caterer: B.
