Real Weddings: Lauren & John's Whimsical Idaho Country Wedding

Oh friends, have we a treat for you today! This hands down adorable couple's wedding was submitted to us by Idaho Wedding Photographer Dev Khalsa. It has us swooning from beginning to end with all the lovely details, and this couple's smitten love for one another just leaps from the beautiful imagery. It's full of colorful flowers, unique DIY touches that are totally pin worthy, gorgeous scenery of the Idaho terrain, and amazing shots of the two in their sweet moments.

Dev shared a bit with us about Lauren & John's lovely wedding. Here is what she had to say:This darling, shy, hipster couple from California came alive in front of the lens! Being a self proclaimed tech girl, the attention to chic detail and unique touches were beautiful and touching. The surprise man on horseback riding up through the meadow to read cowboy poetry was a fabulous addition to their ceremony. The reception was a tribute to family tradition attending a Sun Valley Ice Show!

We hope you enjoy Lauren & John's whimsical wedding as much as we do, captured beautifully by Dev Khalsa Photography:

Awww, right?! Such a sweet wedding! The sweetness totally comes from the joyful smiles and stares of these two lovebirds. I love everything about them. Lauren's dress is darling, and I am in love with her choice of shoes-the perfect something blue, and then some. I love the styling of the groom as well. The joyful colors of blue, yellow and grey, with hints of pinks and purples throughout is a great wedding palette.

I love the little details, like the moss covered animals, the thoughtful hats & umbrellas for guests during the ceremony, the mason jars for holding drinks, the love birds atop the cake, the sweet table number card set into tiny wood cuts, it's a total A+ in our books! Oh, and the poem reader...that had to be amazing to see as a guest, and what a great added touch by the bride and groom.

Our thanks to Dev Khalsa Photography for this beautiful submission.
