Real Weddings: Kendra & Thomas' Sentimental Barn Wedding

We have such a sweet wedding to share with you today, full of beautiful, sentimental details. If you're a lover of old quilts, burlap, chalkboards, buttons and handkerchiefs, get ready to pin away the details! The submission is from Tennessee wedding photographer team Lady and Mister Photographie, and are we ever so happy to share the barn wedding goodness with you all!

Here's a little bit of what we know about Kendra and Thomas' love filled day:
Kendra had been planning her wedding since she was a little girl. She always knew she wanted to get married in a barn with hay and her great grannie's quilts. She has been a collector of antiques and family heirlooms for many years even before the vintage trend started. Her father had an old truck that he and Kendra worked on together for many years and that is what you road up to her ceremony in. She also had a table set up documenting heirloom pieces and pictures from her and his families on their wedding days. You could tell her wedding day was all about her and her new husband and their families. It was such a sweet day!

Love it all! Love the simplicity of everything, but it's not really so simple when so many details were incorporated to make Kendra & Thomas' wedding truly their own, reflecting their hearts, involving their families.

I'm going to start with Kendra's is the perfect dress for a barn wedding! Love the layers and the length. It looks comfortable and it works with the details that were incorporated.

Onto the details, I love the quilt covered hay bales. Again a simple touch, yet it's a pretty and sweet sight to see. This is where we start to get sentimental. Had I to do my wedding over again, I would've done something with my grandmother's quilts for sure, to include her, even though she is no longer with us. I also LOVE the handkerchief "wedding wishes"! That is so thoughtful, and clever. Did you notice the vintage bed frame used to help clip the handkerchiefs to? That's a great idea, in my book, too!

Having pics of family members on their wedding days of yore, including an old family heirloom sewing machine, it's all lovely.  What a beautiful day for Kendra & Thomas, and their now joined family.  Our thanks to Lady and Mister Photographie, for sending Kendra & Thomas' wedding over!
