Real Weddings: Lindsay & Peter's Playful Summer Camp Wedding

Any of you lovely readers here ever been a girl scout or boy scout, or any other type of scout, and attended camps during the summer months? I sure did! I went to three camps in my youth, and enjoyed them all implicitly! Although those days are long past me, and I do remember many camp fun moments, this couple's amazing wedding we are sharing with you today, captured by Amanda Summerlin, held at a summer camp in Minnesota, is fun, adorable and timeless.

There are many personal touches throughout that are extremely pin worthy, especially if you might consider doing such a wedding at a camp, with bunk beds, dining halls, and beautiful open spaces. It's the perfect summer outdoor wedding, which I'm sure many are wishing for those summer temps right now, with all the cold hitting so many.

So cozy up, lovers, and please enjoy Lindsay & Peter's Summer Camp Wedding, lensed by Amanda Summerlin Photography:

Completely charming! I love the laid back vibe with all the traditional and non-traditional elements. The wedding party decked out in orange converse shoes is awesome! And the cake topper cannot be missed with the little lego bride and groom, that's a fun touch for sure!

Did you notice the fabric pieces attached with clothespins? If you can't make out the sign, it's letting guests know to grab a fabric piece, hold it during the ceremony, and as the couple are making their way back down the aisle for the recession, Lindsay and Peter collected each piece to later then make into a quilt...so thoughtful!

One of my favorite images, which is truly hard to pick out, is the last one here, with their silhouettes kissing with the beautifully lit reception area behind them, and the image of the cake captured outside the window.

Our many thanks to Amanda Summerlin for submitting this joy filled wedding our way! We hope you all enjoyed, and please comment on your favorite bits!
