Anna Marisol shed a bit of light on Jamie & Vincent's wedding fiesta with us:This wedding was such an incredibly fun day! Jamie and Vincent are such lovely, fun people and their wedding emphasized this. Their wedding was Mexican themed with lots of colorful detail. Many of which the bride MADE! It's incredible all the things she made while finishing up med school and working 6 days a week.
The bride drew the wedding and rehearsal dinner invitations, she added beads to the card "box" and flower girl's basket, the bride and a friend made all the bouquets and flower decorations. The bride had all her friends wear colorful dresses to capture a photo together and incorporated cute masks and sunglasses! The cake was made by Brenda, a friend of the bride and fit in perfectly with the theme. The reception was held at a Mexican restaurant and highlights included a great band, a donkey serving beer and a pinata filled with shots for the adults!
Please sit back and enjoy this Festive Mexican Themed Wedding, as captured by Anna Marisol Photography:
I really don't know where to begin! I love everything, and I can't believe how much creativity the bride put into the details she made, given her wrapping up med school, and just being a bride with so much to do! Great job!
I love Jamie's dress and her shoes ARE.EPIC! Love the jewelry she wore, too. I love the elegant meets casual bridesmaid gowns, those are perfect for a fiesta themed wedding for sure.
That cake is awesome! Love the little "day of the dead" wedding couple, and the little bobble head wood carving animals (Oaxacan wood carvings) adorning the cake! I have a ton of those from past trips to Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) during college spring break trips.
And what about that "beer burro"? That had to be an awesome treat for the guests! Love the pinata filled with shots, too!
When you live in Arizona, it is easy to incorporate festive decor touches inspired by the Mexican culture, and I love how this couple pulled it off in their fun, modern way!
Our thanks to Anna Marisol Photography for sending Jamie & Vincent's festive wedding our way!
